Thongate (Gate) Houngsaitong is a Bangkok-based photographer, architect, and design educator whose practice integrates visual storytelling with spatial and material intelligence.
His photographic work spans fashion, beauty, and architectural editorial distinguished by a rigorous attention to composition, light, and the structural logic of space. Informed by over a decade of cross-disciplinary practice, Gate's images operate at the intersection of aesthetic precision and conceptual clarity, serving both commercial and cultural contexts.
As Principal of The Bartista Studio Co., Ltd., Gate leads an integrated design practice encompassing architecture, interior, and brand environments. His earlier career spanning collaborations with GMM, RS, and Avex Trax, followed by a CMO and interior design role at KARUNAI Furniture reflects a consistent engagement with how designed spaces and visual narratives shape human experience.
Gate holds a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Mahidol University and is currently completing a Master's degree in Architecture at Bangkok University, where his research sits at the convergence of design methodology and visual culture. He is also active as a practitioner-educator, contributing to discourse on design thinking and interdisciplinary creative practice.
